Rheumatoid Arthritis is the second most common type of Arthritis and also classified as a form of Rheumatism. Rheumatoid Arthritis is regarded as an Autoimmune Disease and involves chronic Inflammation of the Synovial Membranes of the Joints - (typically the Joints of the fingers, wrists, feet and ankles and often the hips and shoulders) and causes destruction of Cartilage, Bone and other adjacent Tissues.

Prevalence

Rheumatoid Arthritis afflicts 1% - 3% of the world’s population, predominantly afflicts women between the ages of 20 and 60 - there is a minor hereditary association and accounts for 10% of all cases of Rheumatic Diseases.

These Substances Alleviate Rheumatoid Arthritis

Amino Acids

Rheumatoid Arthritis patients have significantly lower levels of Creatine than healthy people (and supplemental Creatine Monohydrate may help to restore endogenous Creatine levels to normal in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients) - studies to determine whether supplemental Creatine Monohydrate could alleviate Rheumatoid Arthritis have not yet been performed.

Enzymes

Proteases (both Dietary Proteolytic Enzymes and endogenous Proteolytic Enzymes administered orally) alleviate Rheumatoid Arthritis (by inhibiting the further progression of the inflammatory processes that underlie the Joint damage characterized by Rheumatoid Arthritis):

- Bromelain (1,200 - 1,800 mg per day, especially when used in combination with other Proteases) reduces the Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

- Chymotrypsin (especially when used in combination with other Proteases) minimizes the Pain and Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Papain (especially when used in combination with other Proteases) minimizes the Pain and Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Trypsin (especially when used in combination with other Proteases) minimizes the Pain and Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Supplemental Pancreatic Enzymes alleviate the Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) (Cu-Zn SOD form administered via injection) helps to protect against and heal Rheumatoid Arthritis:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis patients generally exhibit deficient levels of (Cellular) Superoxide Dismutase in their Neutrophils.

Hormones

Supplemental Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) may protect against the development of Rheumatoid Arthritis - this theory is based on the finding that Rheumatoid Arthritis patients generally exhibit low endogenous DHEA levels.

Supplemental, exogenous Pregnenolone (500 mg per day) was developed originally as a treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis and is most effective against Rheumatoid Arthritis during the early stages of the disease.

Optimal Testosterone levels may protect against the development of Rheumatoid Arthritis in males - this theory is based on the finding that male Rheumatoid Arthritis patients generally exhibit low endogenous DHEA levels.

Lipids

Beta-Sitosterol (especially when used in conjunction with Sterolins such as Beta-Sitosterol Glycoside) helps to control Rheumatoid Arthritis (by stimulating the proliferation of TH1 Helper T-Cells and deactivating TH2 Helper T-Cells).
Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) improves the condition of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients (by increasing the production of anti-inflammatory Series 1 and Series 2 Prostaglandins).
Linoleic Acid (LA) deficiency can cause Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) alleviates Rheumatoid Arthritis (due to its anti-inflammatory actions).
Superunsaturated Fatty Acids (Omega-3 Fatty Acids) alleviate Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Alpha-Linolenic Acid (LNA) (ingested orally or applied topically) alleviates the Pain and Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

- Eicosatetraenoic Acid (ETA) significantly suppresses the Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis (by inhibiting Lipoxygenase, the enzyme that causes the excessive production of Leukotrienes involved in the Inflammation of Rheumatoid Arthritis)
- Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) (1,800 mg per day) reduces the morning stiffness associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis, decreases the number of tender Joints in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients and retards the further progression of Rheumatoid Arthritis (it can take up to 12 weeks for improvements using supplemental EPA to become noticeable).
SEE SOLAL “LIFE-OIL” OMEGA 3 AND 6 ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS FORMULATION FOR A COMBINATION OF THE ABOVE OMEGA 3 AND 6 EPA, LNA, GLA AND LA.

Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) is highly effective in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis (often resulting in a total cure - some medical ers claim that CMO is the most effective treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis yet discovered):
- CMO lubricates Joints that have been damaged during the progression of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- CMO alleviates the Pain and Inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Semi-permanent remission from the Pain and Inflammation of Rheumatoid Arthritis often occurs within 17 - 31 days of commencement of CMO treatment.
- CMO is speculated to cause its dramatic improvements in Rheumatoid Arthritis by correcting erroneously programmed Memory T
-Cells that cause the Autoimmune response that attacks Joints in Rheumatoid Arthritis.

A proprietary formulation of Glucosamine Sulphate, Boswellia Extract, Ginger Extract, Nettle Leaf Extract 4:1, Curcumin and Betasitosterol, to assist with Inflammation, Pain and Healing.

Glucosamine Sulfate reduces the Inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis, enhances the structural integrity of Connective Tissues, and is a natural component of human Cartilage stimulates the regeneration of damaged Cartilage. Is highly beneficial for people with damaged Cartilage of the knees and preserves the structural integrity of the Joints, eliminates the Pain of damaged Joints and helps to repair damaged Joints. Glucosamine Sulfate is a very effective treatment (and possibly a cure) for Osteoarthritis.
